Why I'm Running
Wasco County deserves leadership that listens.
Common Sense Leadership for Wasco County
Local government should focus on responsible spending and real community needs. Decisions should support working families, agriculture, and local businesses. I'm running because I care about the future of this county and the people who live here.
Wasco County is a place where people work hard, support their neighbors, and take pride in their communities. Over the past several years, I have watched decisions being made that do not always reflect the priorities of the people who live and work here.
I am not running as a career politician. I am running because I believe Wasco County deserves steady leadership, practical decision making, and a commissioner who is willing to listen to the people of this county.
See My PrioritiesWhat I Stand For
Responsible Spending
Taxpayer dollars should be managed carefully with transparent, disciplined budgets focused on long term community needs.
Public Safety
Support law enforcement and emergency services with the resources they need to keep our communities safe.
Agriculture & Rural Communities
Protect farms, water rights, and rural livelihoods. County policy should reflect the importance of our agricultural heritage.
Transparency in Government
County government should be open and accountable. Residents deserve to know how decisions are made and how their money is spent.
Working Families
Decisions at the county level should support the working families and local businesses that make Wasco County strong.
Listening to Residents
County leadership should listen to the people it serves. My goal is to be a commissioner who is accessible and accountable to you.
Priorities
What I will focus on as your Wasco County Commissioner.
A Clear Focus for Wasco County
County government works best when it stays focused on what matters most to the people it serves. These are the priorities I will bring to the Commissioner's office.
Responsible Spending
County government should respect taxpayer dollars and focus spending on services that actually benefit residents. Budgets should be transparent, disciplined, and focused on long term needs instead of short term decisions. Every dollar spent should be accountable to the people who paid it.
Public Safety
Strong communities depend on reliable public safety services. Law enforcement, emergency responders, and public safety programs need the resources and support necessary to protect our residents. County leadership must work closely with these agencies to maintain safe communities across Wasco County.
Agriculture and Rural Communities
Agriculture and rural communities play a major role in the identity and economy of Wasco County. County policies should recognize the importance of farming, ranching, and the people who work the land. Decisions made at the county level should protect water access, land use rights, and the long term viability of agriculture.
Transparency in Government
Residents deserve to understand how decisions are made and how their tax dollars are being used. County government should operate openly and provide clear communication with the public. Transparency builds trust and allows residents to stay informed about the direction of their county.
Supporting Local Businesses
As a local business owner, I understand the challenges people face when regulations grow and costs increase. County policy should help local businesses and working families succeed, not create barriers that make it harder to operate and grow in Wasco County.
Practical, Common Sense Leadership
My goal is to represent the people of Wasco County with honesty, common sense, and a commitment to doing what is right for our communities. Decisions should be practical, thoughtful, and focused on the long term strength of our county.
